A distinctly Alpine concept store with craftmanship at its heart

SUPER MOUNTAIN MARKET

Via Stredas 4
7500 St. Moritz
Mon—Sun 10:00—19:00

Super Mountain Market is our seasonal playground for furniture, art, clothing, ceramics, and curious objects gathered from across the Alps.
What began in 2020 as a two-month pop-up by Mario Weichselmann and Angelo De Luca has grown, season by season, into a beloved summer and winter staple of the St. Moritz calendar.

As of 2025, we are delighted to announce that Super Mountain Market will be open all year round in our new permanent location: Via Stredas 4, 7500 St. Moritz.
Part concept store, part gathering, part coffee shop, and always shaped by the spirit of the valley, Super Mountain Market continues to reflect the kind of world we want to live in: one of curiosity, connection, and craftsmanship, shared in good company at 1,856 metres.
We showcase the work of friends, collaborators, and makers we admire. Each piece carries a story. And every story begins with people we believe in.

In good company

OUR MAKERS

Since the very beginning of Super Mountain Market in 2020, we’ve had the joy and privilege of working with an extraordinary group of makers, designers and brands - not only for their craft, creativity and integrity, but for the friendship and mutual trust that has grown between us over the years. These are not just collaborators; they are companions on a shared journey.
These are a few of the makers we hold very close - individuals whose work inspires us daily, and whose presence shapes what Super Mountain Market has become. In the following, we’d like to introduce a few more.

  • Handformwerk

Since the very beginning of the Super Mountain Market, our collaboration with Handformwerk has been a deeply meaningful constant. Season after season, Barbara Berger - the gallerist behind Handformwerk - has brought in a careful selection of artists and craftsmen who work with elemental materials like wood, glass, and fabric.

What makes Handformwerk so special is not just the quality of the work, but the spirit behind it: everyone they represent is deeply rooted in their craft - pure souls who live for what they do. Their presence has shaped the atmosphere of the market in a way that feels both grounded and generous.

  • Rier

Founded by Andreas Steiner, RIER is a sophisticated fashion atelier with roots in South Tyrol and a creative base in Paris. Every piece is handcrafted in Austria and Italy - a reflection of quiet precision, cultural depth, and a rare dedication to quality.

RIER is not about trends. It’s an insider’s brand, worn by those who truly appreciate craftsmanship and timeless form. From the start, we’ve proudly carried for example the Flower Walker Jacket - a piece that once felt almost invisible in the fashion capitals, yet unmistakably present to those who knew.

Today, you see it in Milan, in Paris, and here in St. Moritz - always on people with a certain eye, a certain elegance and understatement.

  • Alva

ALVA was founded by Henriette Leimer, who grew up in St. Moritz and carries a deep connection to the mountains into every piece she creates. With a clear vision and quiet confidence, she has introduced a sense of effortless elegance to alpine life - understated, unisex, and grounded in the values of timeless style.

Working exclusively with Loro Piana cashmere, ALVA reflects the same commitment to discreet luxury, exceptional craftsmanship, and natural performance. Every piece is designed to be touched, worn, and passed on - so soft and beautiful but functional

It’s an attire for generations: modern yet classic, cool without shouting. ALVA has become part of the landscape - blending into the mountains with Henriette’s character that is all about clarity, purpose and community.

  • Yali Glass

YALI GLASS was founded by Rosi Kahane, who divides her time between Venice and the mountains – two landscapes that shape her way of thinking and creating. Her deep connection to nature, to craft, and to quiet beauty is something that comes through in every object she touches.

Handmade in Murano, YALI GLASS draws from centuries of Venetian glassmaking while carrying a distinctly modern purity. But Rosi’s vision doesn’t stop at the lagoon: she also collaborates with local carpenters from the Engadin valley, building a beautiful and tangible bridge between the alpine landscape and the Venetian tradition.

Her work is refined but never distant - thoughtful, tactile, and full of quiet meaning.

  • Glivam

Glivam was founded by Valerio Glisenti - a superlocal of the Engadin, whose life blends architecture, craftsmanship, art, and the quiet knowledge of the forest. A hunter and maker in the truest sense, Valerio created something both simple and extraordinary: a healing cream made entirely from herbs and plants he gathers himself in the woods.

What makes Glivam so special is not only its effectiveness - though our clients now use it for everything from dry hands to small injuries, and even as a facial cream - but the feeling it carries. It holds the essence of the Engadin. Its scent, texture, and power all speak of the place it comes from.

Glivam is more than a product. It’s the work of a young and deeply rooted creative mind - someone who understands this place from within and has given it a form you can hold in your hand.

  • Rolf Sachs

Though based in Rome, Rolf Sachs is in many ways a part of St. Moritz and the Engadin itself. His presence, his work, and his sensibility are woven into the valley, visible in homes, public spaces, and galleries throughout the region. His art and design are always in quiet dialogue with the landscape - playful, poetic, and deeply rooted.

It was Rolf who first brought one of Super Mountain Market’s founders, Mario, to the Engadin, and his influence continues to shape the spirit of the project. In the very first edition of the market, and again in 2025, we are proud to show Camera in Motion - a photographic collaboration with Leica that offers a glimpse into Rolf’s way of seeing: blurred, emotional, and rich with suggestion. The longer you look, the more it reveals.

Rolf Sachs reminds us that beauty lies not in clarity, but in depth: in the layers, the textures, and the echoes of a place you truly know.
